David Mueller is an economic development specialist with programme management and technical experience with the UN, NGOs, the private sector and government. As a long-standing member of UNDP’s Sustainable Finance Hub, he joined IRFF as the Regional Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa where works with country teams to deliver the Facility’s programming, and coordinates regional insurance and risk financing initiatives with public and private stakeholders. David is based at the UNDP Africa Sustainable Finance Hub in Pretoria, South Africa.

“The regulatory roundtable will offer senior regulatory officials a platform to exchange insights and gain new perspectives for strengthening actuarial capacity and enhancing the resilience of the insurance sector. The discussion will focus on the value actuaries bring in strengthening the industry, supporting regulatory mandates – including prudential supervision; market development and market conduct– and enhancing overall insurance sector resilience.”
