Liz Booth is a board-level communications specialist who works closely with diverse teams to lead projects on time and on budget. A writer of thousands of articles, social media posts and media releases who is equally at home working at board level developing strategies and implementing major change.

Liz founded a fortnightly newsletter, Africa Ahead, enabling the sustainability and resilience conversation among African insurers, reinsurance and intermediaries. She has developed a team of award-winning journalists to work on the title, mentoring award-winning journalists through the Pan African Insurance Journalist of the Year Awards. Liz has also advocated for insurance professional upskilling through a continuous professional development programme.

She is a member of the steering committee of the Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance and is vice chair of the NDSI communications & events committee. Liz has moderated at a number of key African insurance events and routinely hosts a series of webinars, round tables and podcasts.
